JJ Bleday

A former SEC Player of the Year and standout at Vanderbilt, JJ Bleday set a school record with 27 home runs in 2019. He played with the Oakland Athletics in 2023, showcasing his talent at the major league level.
Adam Bleday

As the Shorebirds’ Pitching Coach, Adam brings extensive knowledge from his playing days at the University of Pennsylvania and coaching experience in the Florida Complex League. He’s eager to share insights that will elevate your pitching skills.

About Our Instructors:
Tomeka Watson
-
The first All-American in Elon University softball history and the first female athlete at Elon to receive All-American honors at the NCAA Division I level. Watson is the school’s all-time career leader in hits (258) and runs (161). She boasts an impressive career batting average of .337, with 34 home runs, 125 RBIs, and 100 stolen bases. As a freshman, she was named Southern Conference Freshman of the Year and achieved four-time All-SoCon honors, leading the conference in multiple categories during her senior year.
